We return, we celebrate, we continue!
Dear friends of YMCA Camp in Pelion,
With deep emotion and pride, the YMCA Camp in Pelion brought to a close the celebration of its 100 + 1-year legacy.
From July 24th to 27th, 2025, Pelion was once again filled with hundreds of alumni and new campers — young and old — with laughter, songs, and moments that reminded us all why this place is truly unique. We returned to the same place where we grew up, created memories, made promises, and built lifelong friendships.
Together, we became part of a story – a story that continues to grow, as each new generation adds its own chapter of joy, learning, and love! In that same place where every corner whispers a story, every path leads us back to the summers that taught us how to share, how to love, and how to dream. Where every voice, every laugh, and every song, carried by its familiar echo, reminds us that no matter how many years may pass, camp will always be our “home away from home.”
We honored those who brought us this far, embraced our friends and camp counselors once again, and welcomed the new generation who will keep the flame alive and burning.
And when, in the end, we all stood around the campfire singing the song of farewell, we felt that the celebration ended exactly as it should — with light, love, and gratitude!
The Camp invited us back to where it all began, to celebrate in the spirit that defines us —
just as it was meant to be!

We warmly welcome you to our anniversary celebrations!
Parade
Along the shores of Papa Nero and Ai Giannis, four generations of campers walked side by side — young and old, alumnis and “soon to be campers”— all as one body, one soul!
With the speakers echoing the song and the cheer of our Camp, the anthem resonating through the ancient plane trees and the waves, and the 100-year slogan filling the air, the heart of Pelion and the YMCA beat louder than ever before!

Live Concert
A live concert filled with music, dance and a lot of cheers!
Lunch at the Camp
An afternoon filled with camp magic! A shared meal brought everyone back – if only briefly – to their childhood years.
The highlight of the lunch? The big “water fight” that followed!
Theater Performance
With timely scripts, humorous lines, impressive costumes, and satirical content, this year’s theater performance titled “Centaur Street”, was one of the most anticipated highlights of our celebrating events!
Drone Show
During a spectacular drone show on the evening of the second-to-last day of our celebrating events, all campers and friends watched in awe as the sky lit up above the beach of Agios Ioannis.
