Public Speaking
The program is aimed at educators, speech and seminar presenters, media hosts, entrepreneurs, independent network marketing professionals, business executives, salespeople, lawyers, actors, students, and anyone who wishes to improve their presentation skills, verbal comfort, and social skills.
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
- Knowledge Level: To recognize the power of speech and correct expression, and to organize their speech and the necessary conditions.
- Skills Level: To manage themselves and their audience, adapt to audience reactions, and create conditions for learning, influencing, engagement, and reflection.
- Attitudes Level: To adopt the responsible attitude required of a speaker to meet the audience’s needs, use all means for effective information transmission, and inspire and motivate the audience towards learning.
PARTICIPATION: Due to the experiential nature of the program, participation is limited (maximum 15 people).
INSTRUCTOR: Christos Arabatzis
Graduated in Counseling Psychology and Psychotherapy – NLP Master @ Life Coach – Hypnotherapist N.G.H. – Personal Development Group Coordinator – Certified Adult Educator by the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance.
CERTIFICATION: Participants will receive a Certificate of Competence as an ‘Adult Speaker – Instructor’ upon completion of the program.

The Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning Center of YMCA Thessaloniki is the new dynamic entity for YMCA Thessaloniki’s Educational Programs. It specializes in adult education and training and is certified by the National Organization for the Certification of Qualifications and Vocational Guidance with Registry Number 2101758. The Center is the ideal choice for adults looking to significantly enhance their knowledge and skills in the constantly evolving and competitive modern job market. Our goal is to provide our students with the tools they need for their success.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Annual membership registration required: €15
- Trial lessons are only allowed in monthly programs (1 in each program) with the corresponding lesson fee paid.
- Membership for all monthly programs is paid in advance on the first day of the respective month.
- Official holidays are included in the subscriptions and are not made up (Official holidays: 26/10, 28/10, 24/12 (half-day), 25/12, 26/12, 31/12 (half-day), 1/1, 6/1, Clean Monday, 25/3, 1/5, Maundy Thursday (half-day), Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter Sunday, Easter Monday, Pentecost, and 15/8).
- Absences due to the member’s fault are not transferable.
- In cases of waiting lists and if the subscription is not renewed within the first week of each month, the position will be allocated to someone else.
- Tuition fees are non-refundable: if the participant cancels their participation for any reason, if they do not attend the classes for any reason, or if they choose to discontinue their participation during the classes. Transfer of participation to a different YMCA Thessaloniki program for the same or a relative’s person within the same financial year is possible.
- Cost of magnetic card replacement in case of loss: €3
