OPEN DOORS
A fundamental principle of the YMCA Thessaloniki is to make its resources and programs available to the entire community. Although the YMCA Thessaloniki program fees are already competitive, they may not be affordable for individuals and families with low incomes who struggle to cover even basic needs. To ensure access for everyone, the YMCA Thessaloniki “subsidizes” participation in its programs for children, teenagers, adults, and families in need. Sports, wellness, education, and culture should be accessible to all!
Eligibility Criteria
To participate in OPEN DOORS, applicants must be students, students in higher education, or employees with a low family income. The documentation required for participation is strictly confidential, and subsidies are granted based on the order of application and available YMCA Thessaloniki resources.
Applicants are required to provide necessary documentation verifying the number of family members and income.
The number of family members and the total household income will determine a discount ranging from 10% to 50% for the program of the applicant’s choice, valid for an entire year!
