The trainer training begins with a five-day educational session on October 28 each year and continues with various meetings throughout the year.

The trainer training program is designed for those aiming to become trainers for the Staff Training School or to participate in one of its regional programs.

The program is divided into two parts:

  1. Personal Development Training: The first part focuses on intense personal development training. Trainees will have the opportunity to develop various personal skills and acquire abilities that they can use both in their sections and in their daily lives. This segment employs experiential education methods.
  2. Trainer Skills Development: The second part addresses the skills needed for a trainer to manage a section effectively. Participants will organize, coordinate, and create a workshop from scratch. In this segment, participants will test their abilities in small groups functioning as sections, where they will act as trainers. This part uses coaching methods to achieve personal development goals.

On the final day of the training, trainers are divided into groups and assigned to sections. Many of the games used in the three cycles of the training program are played, and various tools and methods for handling common situations within a section are presented.

Objectives:

During the trainer training program, our goal is to inspire participants to:

  • Become leaders
  • Develop communication skills
  • Work in teams
  • Organize activities
  • Step out of their comfort zone and engage in challenging activities
  • Learn through experiential education
  • Create activities from scratch
  • Apply all tools in their daily lives

The training for the 2024–2025 period will take place at our winter camp facilities in Agios Nikolaos, Halkidiki. Dates and the registration form will be announced later.
