Την Παρασκευή 7 Φεβρουαρίου πραγματοποιήθηκε εκπαιδευτικό σεμινάριο με θέμα «Πολιτική Διασφάλισης Παιδικής Προστασίας» για τα Εκπαιδευόμενα Στελέχη και τους Εκπαιδευτές του Γ’ κύκλου της Σχολής Στελεχών.
Στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος βιωματικής και κατασκηνωτικής εκπαίδευσης της Σχολής Στελεχών, το σεμινάριο αποσκοπούσε στην εκπαίδευση των συμμετεχόντων σε σχετικούς κανονισμούς και νομοθεσίες που αφορούν την προστασία παιδιών και ανηλίκων. Στόχος ήταν η πλήρης ανταπόκριση στις σύγχρονες κοινωνικές ανάγκες και προκλήσεις, καθώς και στις απαιτήσεις που σχετίζονται με θέματα συμπεριφοράς και κοινωνικής ευθύνης.
Ευχαριστούμε θερμά το Ίδρυμα HP για την ευγενική χορηγία των HP HOPE laptops, τα οποία αποτελούν ένα πολύτιμο εργαλείο στην υλοποίηση τέτοιων εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων για νέους. Η τεχνολογική υποστήριξη που προσφέρουν συμβάλλει ουσιαστικά στην ενίσχυση της εκπαιδευτικής διαδικασίας, διευκολύνοντας τη διάδοση γνώσεων και την ανάπτυξη δεξιοτήτων που είναι απαραίτητες για τις σύγχρονες προκλήσεις.

On Friday, February 7th, a training seminar on ““Code of Conduct for YMCA Staff and Volunteers: Safety Regulations and International Policies“ was held at the YMCA Thessaloniki’s Headquarters, for all Youth Leadership Training School participants.
The seminar aimed to train participants on relevant regulations and international policies concerning the protection of children and minors.
The goal was to fully address modern social needs and challenges, as well as the requirements related to behavior and social responsibility of our Youth Workers.
We sincerely thank the HP Foundation for its generous donation of the HP HOPE laptops, which serve as a valuable tool in implementing such educational training programs for young people. The technological support they provide significantly enhances the educational process of our programs.

The HP Foundation also helped us establish our very own Digital Hub, a place accessible to all. It is providing a vital resource for our community in the heart of the city. Operating primarily as a digital library, it offers free access to a wide range of online resources, helping individuals enhance their skills and knowledge. Additionally, it serves as a gathering place for our young volunteers, fostering collaboration and learning through workshops and group discussions. It perfectly complements the activities of YMCA Thessaloniki, while also providing a space to create and share using the available digital tools. The hub has quickly become a key space for our young people to connect, learn, and grow in a supportive and technology-driven environment.
